If you can provide me the year and model it will help in identifying a pattern and maybe it can be fixed. If I get enough information, I will have our service department contact Nissan's tech support for troubleshooting.

Like so many othe posters here, I love the phone. However, the static issue on bluetooth is a big problem. I've had the Treo 755p and 800w both working great with my 2008 G35 (with Nav). The Palm Pre on the other had is unusable. I called Palm and spoke to a support rep who said that Bluetooth Car Kits are not fully supported yet, but they hope to clear that up with a software update. I hope that is true, but something doesn't sound right with that explaination. The Pre seems to work fine in other cars (like you have seen with the 2007 Maxima). I know Palm has had an issue like this before, I had a Treo 700p and they had the same issue. Tons of bluetooth problems with static and randomly disconnecting; Palm did correct it with a software update. So I guess there is hope that they can remedy this, I just hope they are listening and working to help us.
