Palm Pre not available on Sprint.com on June 6th

Loading ...The Palm Pre will be out on June 6th but you won’t be able to order it from Sprint.com, you will only be able to get it from BestBuy, RadioShack, and Sprint stores. Sprint did say in their press release that the Palm Pre will be available to order online but not anymore. I talked to Pat L. from Sprint and he said:
You may purchase the phone on June 6 however, it will not be available on line. I do apologize for any inconvenience.
He even showed me the notice that Sprint left in the system:

FDT being online sells. Not at this time. Direct the customer to the store locator on sprint.com or to local Sprint store and tell them to call ahead to check availability.
There you have it, no Palm Pre ordering online on June 6th, don’t stay up at midnight refreshing the Sprint.com page to get your Pre. Read my Are you pre-pared for the Palm Pre launch post to locate stores which will have the Palm Pre and find out how to get one from your local store tomorrow.
I did talk to a rep at Sprint today and she stated it would be for sale online on June 21st (pretty sure that’s the date) but it will definitely be available for sale on the Sprint.com site. Which is good for those of us that can’t wait to get it but unfortunately do not have a Sprint store or other authorized seller in their area. I couldn’t wait to get to my local Radio Shack today to buy my Pre but unfortunately they are not a corporate store (according to sales rep) and being individually owned they only deal in Alltel.
Thanks for this info, I will be waiting to purchase it online. I did got to the store to purchase it on Sat when it was released, but I am do for an $150 rebate and the sales person was only going to give me the $100 rebate for everyone else and was making me change my plan. She was rude and impossible, and I refused to buy it.
I have been w/ Sprint/Nextel for quite sometime, and was even considering changing carriers due to her.

Well everyone Palm Pre will not be online for quiet a while they refuse to give it up online, not just yet. I was also told that it was coming out on the June,21 2009. But to my surprise there is no pre with sprint online. On top of that everywhere you go it’s sold out and they want to take anymore order cause they are backed up already. So we are stuck with what we got. It’s a shame that us customers that has been waiting for so long have to wait for this phone. But to my surprise I seen review about the Palm Pre and its’ already having problems and customers are not happy about it. Like for instinct when you pull it open to text then close it, it will automatically shutdown and that’s a no, no. I want it but they have to fix that problem or sprint stores will be having a lot of angry customers coming over there complaining about the Palm Pre. I hope this help them to fix the problem before it gets out of hand.
Well it’s nice to know when an online purchase date is set. I live in a small town. We have no local Sprint retailers or Best Buy stores. Our local Wal-Mart and RadioShack aren’t carrying them, haven’t even mentioned them, so I’m “up the creek!” I’ve checked everyday online to see when it’s going to be available, today I asked the rep said they couldn’t “comment” on when it will be available. But I called the telesales line on the 6th and he took my name and number, told me to remember his name and he would contact me on the next shipment; still I haven’t received a call. So I have no choice but to wait for it to become or available or just upgrade to something different. Me being a past Palm owner, I would rather have this phone than any other. Hopefully it will be out the 21st.
