One here once again, and I am now a Palm Pre user. I want to say thank you to everyone who posts on here. It really helped with my decision on which phone to buy, and where to get it from. I chose Radioshak. So far I'm very satisfied with the PP. I will keep checking back here to find out more as time goes by. Thanks!

This past weekend my old phone was destroyed. I'm searching for a fairly simple user phone. I've been reading about the Palm Pre and the LG Lotus. I'm not a business end user so all the 'extras' that the blackberry offers doesn't apply to me. I was wondering how users are finding the ease of use of the Pre. Mainly, the durability, quality of performance day to day doing simple tasks (email, texting, picture taking), general user interface such as answering and dialing (I had the Instinct at one time and returned it because I couldn't stand the fact that I had to constantly slide the bar to answer the darn thing), and battery life. Although my last phone (Samsung MM-A920)had the ability to play MP3, I never used that capability so it doesn't bother me not to have it. Any inputs?

I went by to ask and was told that the SERO plan was no longer available. I tried explaining that the Everything Plus was SERO's replacement and then he told me that even employees can't buy the Pre yet.

At this point I gave up talking to him.

I called to confirm this last week. After much banging of my head against the nearest wall, I was able to get the girl on the phone to understand that I was a SERO customer looking to purchase a Pre. She continually told me that it was Simply Everything plan @ $99 or nothing. After I asked to speak with customer retention, she noticed that I did in face qualify for the Simply Everything Data 500 plan. She also said that any Sprint store employee should be able to handle this switch in store. I guess we will find out this weekend.

Does anybody know if the Everything Plus Referral Program (formerly known as SERO) will be available in a Sprint store or is that only online?
